How to Enable JavaScript and Cookies in Your Browser

How to enable cookies in your version 4 (or later) browser:

Internet Explorer (PC): Go to the View menu (for IE5+ go to the Tools menu) and select Internet Options... Click on the Privacy tab, then click on the Advanced button. On the Advanced Privacy Settings dialog, you should check the Override automatic cookie handling and Always allow session cookies. Have First-party Cookies and Third-party Cookies on Accept, then click OK.

Internet Explorer (Mac): Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences, then within Receiving Files select "Cookies," and then (over there on the right) choose "Never ask" from the pull-down menu.

Netscape Navigator (Mac and PC): Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences, click Advanced, and then select "Accept all cookies."

How to enable JavaScript in a version 4 (or later) browser:

Internet Explorer (PC): Go to the View menu (for IE5+ go to the Tools menu) and select Internet Options..., then click on the Advanced tab and scroll down to the Microsoft (Java) VM section. The following options should be checked: "Java console enabled (requires restart)" and "Java JIT Compiler Enabled." Next click on the Security tab and select Internet. Click on the Default Level button and click OK.

Internet Explorer (Mac): Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences, then from within "Web Browser" select "Web Content," and finally (again on the right) choose "Enable Scripting."

Netscape Navigator (Mac and PC): go to the Edit menu and select Preferences, then click onto Advanced, and "Enable JavaScript."
